This is a traditional 18′ St. Lawrence river skiff used in the famous 1000 Islands since the 1800’s. She is planked with white cedar on oak ribs and stems. She has a small deck on each end, two rowing stations and seats in the bow and stern. She is in good structural condition but is a project boat. She is bare wood. All the expensive, tedious removal of the paint has been completed. A good project if you like to varnish. Boat yard located on the Rideau River, near Kemptville, Ontario: just south of Ottawa.
