Rumpf und Aufbauten sind aus Stahl, genietet, geschweisst. Die Elise ist vollständig entkernt und entrostet und mit Kriechoel konserviert. Die Aussenhaut ist Sand gestrahlt und grundiert. Es gibt eine kleine Kammer im Vorschiff, den ehemaligen Frachtraum, einen geräumigen Maschinenraum und eine schöne Achterkajüte, die vom Steuerhaus begehbar ist. ELISE wurde im Jahr 1999 um 4 Meter auf ihre jetzige Länge verkürzt und erhielt einen neuen Laderaumaufbau mit Plane. Zahlreiche Dokumente zur Historie sind vorhanden.ELISE is a tratitional tjalk, a flat-bottom-vessel. She is partly overhauled but needs a complete outfitting and furnishing.
