After the Second World war, a community group in Lunenburg formed the Lunenburg Yacht Club, on the waters of Mahone Bay, NS, near Second Pennisula.   Local boat builder David Stevens was commissioned to build a one design class for the newly formed club -“Restless” is hull no. 1 of the original six S class boats built in 1946  – these yachts formed the basis of the yacht owners who incorporated the Lunenburg Yacht Club. An additional two boats were built by the builder prior to his retirement.”Restless” has had continual restorations throughout her lifespan; her current owner is moving south and cannot take his pride and joy with him.She is a joy to look at and a joy to sail.  For a discerning yachting family who are prepared to preserve a portion of local sailing history.   Museum quality restoration has been completed over the past few years.   Serious wooden boat lovers who want a daysailor should strongly consider this yacht as it is an essential piece of Nova Scotia’s yachting history.
