FLING is a traditional, full keel designed sloop, built by Douglas Marine and designed by Ted Brewer. She is the forerunner of the Douglas 32; however, the Douglas 31 has a conventional transom instead of the reverse transom found on the Douglas 32. She has the standard interior layout, full standing headroom, and a single Universal Atomic 4, 30 hp engine, installed in 1978. Present owners purchased her in 1984 and are selling her as they are retiring from boating.
