NO NAME A rare fiberglass version of the justifiably famous L. Francis Herreshoff Rozinante design, this little yacht is also unusual in that she has an engine. It is difficult to fit an engine into a Rozinante without intruding in the simple but comfortable cockpit Herreshoff so carefully designed, but on this Rozinante, the engine has been well and attractively installed by means of a small bridge deck. Of all of L. Francis Herreshoff’s designs, the Rozinante may best represent his philosophy–“simple yet elegant.” For anyone who has not sailed one of these little yachts, the quality of her sailing characteristics and the comfort of her cockpit will be a very pleasant surprise. We feel that, as one of the few glass Rozinantes, this yacht represents an excellent value.
