This custom-built Friendship Sloop was built by one of the best builders of classic wooden boats, the Ralph Stanley Boatyard of Southwest Harbor, Maine.  Freedom was owned and sailed by one owner for over 30 years, and her current owner of four years cannot sail her due to time restraints.  She has been meticulously maintained and is in excellent condition.  She has been stored inside winters at Great Harbor Boatworks (formerly the Ralph Stanley Yard).  Replacement cost would exceed $250,000. Freedom is a beautiful example of Maine-built craftsmanship and represents a very good value.
