Google 1980 Cooper 416

Year: 1980
Manufacturer: Vela Yacht Sales
Price: Can$ 64,900

The Cooper 416, designed by well known Vancouver B.C. Naval Architect Stan Huntingford and built by Cooper Enterprises of Vancouver B.C., represents a unique blend of parameters at a great price. HUGE funtional interior whose volume has to be seen to be believed, large, wide, flat decks that are wonderful to negotiate, and thanks to her relatively modern split underbody with fin and skeg hung rudder – sailing performance that is quite respectable for a vessel of this displacement. Several of these craft have reportedly made long ocean passages so with additional erquipment and modifications, she would certainly be capable of taking her new owners transoceanic. Otherwise, she would make a terrific liveaboard or extremely comfortable family island cruiser. “Shelca” is a one owner vessel who was commissioned by her original and current owner and has enjoyed years of constant continuous maintenance and care. The interior of this vessel shows wonderfully and could be moved aboard to cruise or liveaboard immediately by even the most fastidious of individuals. The owner and his family have enjoyed many years of cruising in local waters and but for age catching up with them, would not be selling her. Whoever purchases “Shelca” has a committment from the current owner to spend time with them to ensure all systems operation knowledge is transferred. This vessel lies remote from our offices, so contacting the listing broker (see below) ahead of time to set up an appointment to view is recommended.     PRICE REDUCTION AS OF AUGUST 2, 2011. OWNER IS MOTVATED AND WILL CONSIDER ALL REASONABLE OFFERS.
