1981 WHITBY STAYSAIL KETCH, She was awlgripped in 99 and has many new electronics since 2000. Roller furling on Genoa and Mizzen with the Antel system on the Main Dingy with O/B on Davits, and stern rail mounted BBQ & Life Sling The are both a Bruce and CQR with appropriate Rodes also on the foredeck is a recently installed horizontal electric windlass with both up and down foot switches. The extra length of the Genoa track provides additional thru-bolting of the hull deck joint. The dorades have been upgraded to the Chromed version. In the cockpit a teak rimmed wheel, cockpit table and electronic devices include one of two radars and a GPS plotter, weatherfax and a Comnav Autopilot. There are the regular instruments depth, speed and wind instruments as well. The Dodger and stand alone Bimini were new recently and are in great shape. This Whitby has an upgraded interior with the Teak panels by the ports, Higher bulkheads with grab poles and teak & holly sole. Other upgrades include the lower Refridgerator Door, the chair option to starboard, a deck prism for the walk-thru, Newer 3 burner stove with oven and custom sandwich board top and new faucets in the galley. Down below the Nav Station is well equipped with the second Radar and GPS, VHF, one of two, and a regular Stereo with AM/FM. Also there is a SSB receiver. The 12 VDC has been updated since the factory version too. Elsewhere there is a Heart Inverter and battery charger, an Espar diesel cabin heater and the updated refridge freezer system run from shore power or a special alternator on the engine has cold plates in both sides. The forward cabin is reupholstered and the aft owner’s stateroom has new cushions and upholstery. The owner’s stateroom also has two overhead hatches above their berth. The newer upholstery in the main cabin is a royal blue. Both heads are upgraded. The forward one has a custom shower curtain and both have a deck hatch for extra ventilation. Call Dom 843-837-3555.
