Wait…………..Before you think that this Bristol 40 is overpriced, please, keep reading! This beautiful Bristol 40 was sold to the current owner in the summer of ’08. He said he was going to make a good boat great and he did. In the summer of ’08 the hull was awlgripped dark green. After the hull was finished,  it looked so good, he had the entire deck awlgripped. At that point the exterior varnish was stripped and re-done. Yes, the exterior looks like a new boat. Of course the electronics were also replaced (see complete details).  The boat was going to spend its life in Tennessee, so in ’08 an air conditioning system was installed. New batteries, all interior varnish re-done, new thru hulls, new high gloss table, all new upholstery ……………get the idea? Oh yes, the Westerbeke was replaced last year as well as the fuel tank and now has about 3-5 hours on it! In “Julia’s” case, seeing is believing. If you have an eye for probably the nicest B-40 (in this case Bristol 40), don’t hesitate. She is the nicest new/1982 yawl, on the market!
