The YoungSun 43 is a big comfortable liveaboard home and capable voyager. The pilot house design gives you inside and outside steering so no matter that weather you are comfortable. Her beautiful full keel with a wineglass transom and high bow gives her a seakindly movement and wonderful comfort and security at sea. The cutter rig makes all the sails management and gives you sail plan options for all conditions. Her spacious two cabin layout with two heads works for a family or a couple. The settee in the salon also makes a double. The head room of seven feet makes the boat very spacious indeed, and all the berths are at least 6’6”.   Our offering Sofia, has enjoyed 12 years of very light use on the Chesapeake Bay where her owners lived aboard until they moved to the dirt a few years ago. The prior owners actually sailed the boat around the world over a seven year period!   This vessel is quite a nice home and with her rich teak joinery and teak and holly sole with bronze ports and fixtures, she has an ambiance of a time gone by. She has a brand new stove, and a new electric toilet, which is a wonderful thing.   Even more exciting than the interior, is the mechanicals of the boat. Sofia has a brand new Nani Diesel 85 HP engine with only 36 hours on it! When the engine was replaced, she got the works with a new shaft, cutlass bearing, new prop, new dripless shaft seal and everything. There electrical system is driven by dual alternators. The fuel system is new with dual Racor filters! The Hydraulic steering ram is new also.  There is both inside and outside steering stations! Let it rain.   If you are looking for a boat that you can live aboard and one that is capable to take you to your next job or your next island, you just might have found her.
