The C&C 29-2 is a racing pedigree and the good manners of a family cruiser. The C&C design group took the racing machine and gentled her into a nimble racer-cruiser, a heavier boat with more sail area. The designers were especially interested in improving light-air performance.The 29-1 and 29-2 are two entirely different boats. The 29-2 was built between 1983 and 1986.   The 29-2 has a solid fiberglass hull with no core material except in the deck. The hull to deck flange is very strong and C&C did not use any core in that area which eliminates the potential for wet core along the entire joint and stantion bases. The C&C 29-2 is a true dual purpose sailboat. They still race competitively and afterwards you can relax below with real creature comforts. If you like sailing a quick, responsive boat, the 29-2 is one to take a close look at.   Brand new Radar, GPS Chartplotter and Sounder are ready for installation. This boat has been donated to Maritime Funding of Maine and is part of a three year Charter/Purchase program.
