The Pearson 28-2 is a wonderful, performance cruiser combining comfortable accommodations with excellent sailing qualities. The 18HP Yanmar diesel is economical, powerful, and well maintained. The interior is well-designed, by maximizing the space with an open plan. One of the nice features of the Pearson 28-2 is the aft head so that if you enter the cabin wet on rainy days, you can immediately get to the head without getting the rest of the cabin wet.
This Pearson 28-2 sloop, hull #114, also comes with a fabulous hot-water heater! She has been sailed single-handed and with crew, has gone out on daysails as well as longer overnight cruises. This is a nicely maintained example of Pearson quality construction and William Shaw design.

And, this comes in great condition! Restored or Upgraded the following:
– Lovingly re-varnished much of the interior and exterior teak
– Restored Steering pedestal, including internal workings, and refinished the paint finish
– New Fresh water pump
– Masthead, navigation electrical wiring
– Restored dropboard
– Added two reef points to mainsail by professional sailmaker.

– Rolling furler
– Running rigging
– Masthead windvane
– New Portlight, and new portlight screens
