Google 1990 Mark Ellis Nereus 40 Cutter

Year: 1990
Manufacturer: Swiftsure Yachts
Price: US$229,000

At 47 feet overall and 40 feet on deck, NUTSHELL is one of the largest 40 footers we’ve been aboard. Her hull form creates a fantastic interior and on-deck spaces with a massive amount of storage. She really feels more like 47 feet. In design and construction, NUTSHELL is beautifully executed and performs very well under sail.  In the distinctly classic style of his Nonsuch, Niagara and Bruckmann designs, Mark Ellis designed NUTSHELL as a fast, practical and comfortable cruiser. Constructed to a high standard by the Tania boatyard, her interior joinery is a reflection of her pedigree and overall quality of construction. Only five of these hulls were built and this is number five – the only one with a cutter rig – the other four hulls being cat-ketch rigs. She is both sleek and roomy – a rare combination. Her spacious two cabin layout will comfortably accommodate two couples for extended cruising, with additional sea berths in the main salon. Each cabin has a separate head with separate shower compartment accessible from the aft head and the main salon. On deck, her large, comfortable cockpit and simple sail handling systems with electric primary and main halyard winches make boat handling a breeze.  Equipped with SeaFrost refrigeration, Espar diesel heater, removable dinghy davits, 2000 watt inverter, electric and engine hot water system, stack-pack main and roller furling genoa, and amazing custom swim platform, NUTSHELL is ready to comfortably and safely set sail for destinations near or far.
