DON’T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN THIS ONE OF A KIND EXUMA 55! Price reduced and owner is motivated!   BUILT BY REUEL PARKER OF PARKER MARINE in VERO BEACH, FLORIDA IN 1992. PARKER MARINE IS KNOWN FOR ITS MODERN INTERPRETATIONS OF CLASSIC VESSELS, AND ‘IRONY’ IS A SHINING EXAMPLE OF THIS COMBINATION OF THE BEST OF CLASSIC SCHOONER DESIGN WITH MODERN TECHNOLOGIES & CONVENIENCES.   The Exuma 55 is built using Parker’s method of cold molding using West System Epoxy. She was extensively and professionally retro-fitted in the past year, including a brand new interior, new opening ports and hatches, new topsides and bottom paint, and all new running gear. ‘IRONY’ has spent most of her life docked in fresh water on the lower St. Johns River in Northern Florida. There are only 200 hours on her diesel engine and her sails are like new. She flies 1500 sq ft of sail and can scream along at speeds of up to 12 knots. If you harbor a passion for classic design with all of the conveniences of modern boat building, then ‘IRONY’ is the vessel for you. She is a great alternative to buying expensive Keys property, and you could take her north to the Chesapeake or New England during hurricane season. Another option would be to use her as a day charter vessel…in fact, an Exuma 52 is in charter service in Key West.   With her 3’5″ draft (board up) ‘IRONY’ is the perfect vessel to cruise the Keys and Bahamas in classic style with all of the comforts of home.
