Actual ConditionSome of the following information was obtained from a General Survey Report, believed to be true, but not guaranteed. The M/V ANDY LYNN IV is a hard chine, displacement type vessel, constructed of molded fiber reinforced plastic with two (2) passenger decks. Note the boat was documented as 56′ but LOA including pulpit is 65′. The pilot house is centered forward on the upper deck and is enclosed with good all around visibility. The Main deck is flush and is equipped with 2′ fiberglass bulwarks with a 5″ cap and an 18″ double pipe rail on top of cap. There is a board door on centerline aft and on the vessel’s starboard aft corner. The fiberglass two (2) tier structure on the main deck has seating around the perimeter of the main deck, and bench seating on the second deck. The main deck passenger compartment is accessed by a weather tight door on the centerline aft and two weather tight doors on the starboard and port sides of the structure forward. In the aft bulkhead of this structure is located two (2) heads outboard the centerline. The inside of this structure is fitted with bench seating around the perimeter and a galley forward with access to storage area forward to starboard. The galley is fitted with a stainless steel sink with pressure hot and cold water and a small refrigerator. The second deck is accessed by a ladder, starboard of the centerline aft. This deck is surrounded by a 36″ triple pipe bulwarks. There are two lifejacket boxes that double as seats. Forward is the pilot house which is accessed by weather tight doors port and starboard. There are three (3) large forward facing windows set in gaskets and three (3) windows to port and starboard with one of these windows in the sliding door. There is a bench seat aft in the pilothouse. The second deck is in need of some repair and fiberglass work. This work cannot be completed until the engine room machinery is replaced. UNDERWATER BODYAn examination of the underwater body was conducted. The bottom paint was found in fair condition. The propellers are of the four blade bronze type found in serviceable condition. The vessel is fitted with aluminum rudders in good condition. HULL ABOVE WATERLINE AND WEATHER DECKSTopsides are in fair condition displaying signs of heavy wear and tear. The vessels rub rail is missing and/or unfastened over most of the vessel. The decks are painted with non-skid and are in fair condition. There are several areas of partially repaired fiberglass on the deck. SUPERSTRUCTURE / PILOTHOUSEThe super structure has overall good visibility, all electronics, some of the gauges, the throttle control parts, the helm have been removed. This space is cluttered with various equipment. MAIN PROPULSIONThe vessels main engines and reduction gears have been removed from the vessel. It is reported that the boat was prior equipped with Twin JT-671 Detroit and matching gears. AUXILIARY MACHINERYThe vessels generator and batteries, along with majority of the wiring has been removed from the vessel. TANKAGE / FUEL SYSTEMThe void aft the engine room is fitted with three aluminum tanks. All are of unknown gallons and supply fuel, water and holding for the vessel. ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONPermits were in place for this boat. New buyer will have to re-apply for permits, there is no guarantee that the permits will be renewed, nor would they have been guaranteed renewed for the previous owner. This boat was used as a Charter Fishing, Whale Watching and as a general Party Boat. This vessel could serve several uses. We were able to get some information on Stabilization Certificates along with information on previous Coast Guard Certificates that were issued in the past. In no way can this be used as an assurance of Coast Guard Re-Certification for any commercial use whatsoever.
