One of the last Cav 45?s launched. Hull and decks by Export Yachts with the interior finished to a very high standard, by North Harbour yachts. Boat was launched in Nov 03 and fitting out completed early 04. She has been offshore to Tonga and comes with Cat 1 gear(Some safety gear/medical kit etc may have run out of time at purchase time) Accommodation is divided into two adult cabins which have double berths, a child?s cabin which doubles as a workshop and a single sea berth in the passage leading to the aft cabin. Master cabin has a settee, double berth and ensuite with an electric toilet and lectrasan. The forward toilet is similarly equipped. Forward cabin has a double V berth. Cabins are well equipped with lockers. Galley has a 4 burner F&P Hob with a separate Smeg gas oven, electric fridge and freezer, microwave and a F&P dishwasher. 230 volt power is supplied by a Victron Inverter supplied from 440 AH house battery bank. Start bank is 120AH. Water capacity is 800 litres and is supplemented by a Pur Watermaker
Saloon and nav area can be viewed in the photo gallery. All joinery is in teak with, with leather squab covers and granite bench tops. Joinery is to a very high standard.
The motor is a Nanni/ Mercedes 72 hp that has done 450 hours and fuels capacity is 500 litres. Cruising speed under motor is 7-5knots with a maximum of approx 9 knots.
The rig has been extended and the keel has more lead than a standard Cav 45. Sails are by Doyles with a leisurefurl main and furlers on both headsails. Wardrobe is main, genoa, staysail, mps, storm jib and tri sail. All in top condition. A detachable Aries Windvane is part of the inventory
Electronics are Raytheon Auto Pilot, Furuno Radar, Furuno GPS, Raytheon Wind Instruments, Raytheon Depth and speed. Also included are an Icom SSB and VHF.
