2003 FOUNTAIN 31TE, Considered by pros to be the premier fishing boat on the market, Fountain’s 31 Center Console is the perfect blend of performance, features and styling. Fountain is one of the few manufacturers to use high-density foam, Interplastic vinyl ester resins, and multi-directional fiberglass, and then laminates its hulls and decks together, in a process that is racecourse proven. Other features include stringers and bulkheads glassed into place for superior structural integrity, heavy-duty trim tabs and hydraulic steering; complete instrumentation; huge insulated fish box with overboard drains; 50-gallon circulating livewell; rod holders; and a self-bailing cockpit liner. The end result is a hull design that needs less horsepower at on-plane speeds, which translates into an extended range and big savings at the fuel dock.
