Length on deck 26’7″ Lwl 18’6″ Beam 5’4″ Draft 4’3″ The Salcombe A Class evolved in Salcombe before the Great War and the history can be read on the Salcombe Yacht Club web site, courtesy of Tim Street, Wyluna was the second boat to carry the number A4 and was arguably the fastest of the boats racing between the Wars. She was extensively restored in Salcombe in 2008 and won her class in the Salcombe Classic Regatta 2011 Planked in pine, steamed oak timbers. Lead ballast keel. Sheathed ply deck renewed in the 2008 refit.Varnished mahogany coamings. Varnished mast, renewed in the rift with rigging and sails. Excellent galvanised 4-wheel road trailer. Stored under cover, ready to be recommissioned in the spring. Great sailing for little money and the chance to preserve some real local yachting history.
