“Bavishing Reauty” was built and designed by Malcolm Brewer at the Camden Shipbuilding Corporation in Camden, Maine in 1947. She is in exceptional condition and has been professionally maintained since her restoration to her current yacht finish in the early 1990s.  Her hull is Douglas fir planking over oak frames and she is economically powered by a newer Isuzu 150 HP diesel with 1,260 hours that burns two gallons per hour at her 10 knot cruise. She has been consistently upgraded and most recently, a restoration of her cabin floor timbers was completed in July 2011.  A total of 8 white oak floors have been added/replaced.  They were replaced as necessary and added in between each frame, doubling the total number of floors (now there is a floor for every frame).  Thirteen sister frames have also been through bolted with bronze machine screws.  In addition, all new through bolted keel bolts were added.  All the frames were good except a few ends and they have been cut off and sister frames have been added on top.  All the planking is excellent.  The entire bilge in the cabin area has been painted with red lead paint.  She is structurally very sound.    She offers a lovely classic white paint and mahogany varnished trim interior with four berths; complete galley with Force 10 propane stove/oven, hot and cold pressurized water with cockpit shower (new 2006), Sea Frost top loading refrigeration (new 2006) and fold up mahogany dinette table; decorative old coal stove; enclosed head with holding tank. She has a very spacious cockpit and wheel house with custom helm and companion chairs and a stern seat. New Raymarine C-Series color chartplotter, radar, GPS (2006), PROSine inverter/charger (new 2011). Fresh varnish and paint annually.She turns heads in every harbor – winner of 2005 Mystic Seaport Antique and Classic Boat Rendezvous Best Powerboat in 39′ – 50′ class.
