A true classic in every sense of the word, ‘Narhval’ is a very small version of a Baltic Trader, which were used for coastal cargo through Scandinavia and the Baltic for close to 200 years!  While many of the still-existing Baltic Traders are up to, and over 100′ long, ‘Narhval’ is the perfect size for a couple or small family to operate, especially with its compact gaff-cutter rig.  In keeping with all Baltic Traders, ‘Narhval’ has a very large and comfortable interior that includes a traditional aft cabin, but unlike many of the ‘rough and ready’ Baltic Traders of old, the interior on ‘Narhval’ is fitted out to the highest in wood-working and cabinetry standards!  More importantly, ‘Narhval’ has also been maintained to the highest standards, and has just passed a complete survey with flying colors (which if you know wooden boats, is about as rare an occurence as may be imagined!) in September, 2010, and copies of this are available for your purview.If you are looking for a very solid, and traditional ‘small ship’ at a very reasonable price, I can recommend ‘Narhval’ without reservation and ask that you have a look at the photos and full specifications for more details
