1958 34’ GAFF Rigged KETCH, Poppy Hanna This little ship is a joy to see and sail. She is in good condition for her age. All systems are operational and fully functional. The interior appointments are simple but adequate for Sunday sailing and Spartan cruising in Traditional style. Poppy Hanna is a John Hanna Design of a Penguin with a gaff rigged catch sail plan and slightly modified cabin deck structure. The original Penguin cabin extended to the hull sides for increased accommodations below. The Poppy Hanna has a cabin trunk style, allowing a complete walk around of the fore deck. She is a heavy displacement hull with a beam that is proportionate (9’ 4”) to the vessel’s length. This makes for a very stable sailing platform.
