The Rio Colorado is almost identical in construction with the Riva Aquarama – what most people do not know: she was built one year before the Riva. This Rio Colorado is one of the first of its model range and it doesn’t exist an older one worldwide (as far as we know). The boat was fully demounted and then rootedly rebuilt and renewed continually by a well-known wooden boat specialist (with main issue on Riva boats) in the Netherlands during the past 5 years. Even the engines, the gear boxes, the carburettors, all covers, the upholstery as well as some other things were replaced or rebuilt true to original. You can easily see on the pictures of the Rio Colorado that she is now as good as new. Especially for this boat a trailer was customized (up to 3,500 kg; max. speed 100 km/h; tandem axle) which is also part of the offer. A detailed description of the refit, the equipment and a lot of pictures from the original boat and from the refit process we will send on request.
