54′ Monk Pilothouse. This boat must be seen to be appreciated. Whether a cruise to Mexico, through the Panama Canal or weekends in Catalina, she is sure to be a wonderful and capable yacht. She has a spacious and well appointed interior with two staterooms, two heads, two separate showers, a spacious salon, full galley, pilothouse and glowing white and birdseye maple throughout. She is fully loaded with equipment including SSB radio, radar, GPS map, video echo sounder, weather monitor,navigation computer, satellite dish, water maker, generator, inverter, bow thruster and much more. This is an extremely well-built boat. All welds are done using the exact same methods used in aircraft welding. It is a hard chined V-hull, full displacement with a keel and modified deadrise aft. Skip welded T-bar frames, floors and stringers. There are five watertight bulkheads for additional safety. In 2003, the boat was entirely gone over with major improvements including Awlgrip paint on the deck and topsides, LP on the hull, a new radar arch, new wood interior, new davits and many more improvements.
