Phoenix has had a major $10,000,000+ refit over the past 5 years. Originally built as a North Atlantic, fishing trawler, the new configuration eliminated the fish hold and created a new deck from the engine room aft to the lazarette. The original stern has been altered for a ladder, toys locker and dive platform. The new lower deck contains a massive engine room with redundant propulsion; large work shop; Captain’s quarters with queen bed and head; four double berth crew cabins that share two heads; crew lounge and a storage room with chest freezer and a full size fridge.
