This Storebro Baltic 34 is built of mahogany carvel planking on oak frames, shallow continuous oak keel with laid teak deck on a plywood base.  GRP moulded coachroof with minor internal mouldings.  Hull stiffening and reinforcement provided by timber floors, bulkheads, semi-bulkheads and deck beams.  Interior in mahogany and good quality soft furnishings.  Twin bronze rudders and bronze ‘P’ brackets.  All constructed to Det Norske Veritas standards (similar to Lloyds).   Twin Volvo MD 32A diesels of 106 HP each (fully reconditioned in 1998) driving twin bronze 3 bladed propellers through conventional shafts and giving a cruising speed of 7.5 knots.
