  The name Freeman is rightly associated with quality and craftsmanship, having been building river and estuary boats for over 50 years. Some of the early boats launched in the mid 50’s are now deemed classics and are highly collectable. The 23 superceded the 22 Mk1 and Mk2, with the added length being added into the heads compartment and the cockpit. Introduced in 1970, they were so popular that over 700 were built in the next 4 years.   The craft has been well maintained over the years and is in a smart condition. The Winter hasn’t been particularly kind but this will soon wash away revealing a smart polished hull and smart painted decks. The roof above the helm was added by Freeman boats themselves last year to the original drawings. At the same time they added new teak handrails and had a new aft canopy made in navy blue. 4-berth accomodation, smart interior fit out, galley area with hob and heads compartment with chemical toilet make your time afloat relaxing and enjoyable.   The boat is moored alongside a jetty making viewing easy.
