My Prettiest Boat of the Week award goes to this Javelin 30. With entry and exit lines as sharp as the name implies, she looks even sleeker than a Contessa 32, and I suspect she shares a few of the Contessa?s virtues, particularly in regard to sea-keeping and making to windward. Like the Contessa, she?s less roomy below decks, but the expanses of varnished wood provide compensations of a different kind.
