Classic S & S Swan, ketch rig, with main slightly taller than normal. The Swan 65 is the well known design by Sparkman & Stephens and represents for Nautor the one of the most successful model of it’s history. A sister boat ”Sayula” won the first Whitbread Round the World Race in 1973, putting this design in the “legend” . TALINA is the hull # 16 and under the current owner’s supervision has been totally refitted in Finland, during one year from Sept 2006 to Sept. 2007. After this TALINA has sailed the world crossing three times the Atlantic Ocean, always with the same Finnish professional crew. During this time a continuous upgrading of every detail regardless of the budget has been provided. Today TALINA represents one of the best examples of the Swan 65, perfectly maintained and ready to handle every navigation challenge with few crew. Her owner, with more than 35 years of sailing experience and five boats owned before, enjoys cruising with family and friends at the highest standard and has provided all the possible equipment in order to do it. The boat is equipped with two generator units (220Volt), two air conditioning units cooling all the five cabins and three heating systems. Main engine (200HP Volvo) is like new, as well as all the electric and electronic equipment, the cushions, the bow thruster, the gel batteries, the two chargers, the three inverters etc. TALINA is registered in London and the European VAT (or IVA) has been paid.    Her cruising schedule for Summer 2011 is a stop in Balearis for the 2nd half of August, with a possible stop in Palma, and ended up in Gibralter.
