The Alajuela 38 is an excellent and proven bluewater cruiser, this one having spent most of the past 15 years in exotic places like Cartagena, Cuba and twice through the Panama Canal. The interior feels large and has been used as a live aboard for a couple. With some very modest updating she can be made ready to journey again to wherever the weather suits you. Similar in style to the Tayana 37 or the Union 36 this boat is about 5-6000 pounds heavier.
