   (LOCATION: Grenada) The Vagabond 47 Ketch is designed to provide first class performance and accommodations. The wide beam of the Vagabond 47 affords an airy interior with three staterooms and large salon. A serious blue water cruiser, this boat has history and is ready to make some more. The salon, along traditional lines, remains the center piece of the yacht with its spacious living-area with settee, dinette with teak table, full galley, nav station with chart table, and maximum storage. The master stateroom spans over the full width of the aft beam. There’s a king berth surrounded by hanging lockers, dresser, and shelves. The master head compartment features large stand-up shower stall, vanity with tile counter top, and head. There are the two guest cabins. There’s ample headroom in the forward cabins, uncluttered entry, good stowage, hanging lockers, and access to the forward head compartment. The forward cabin features a V-berth, while the starboard cabin has upper & lower twin bunks. All these features contribute to comfort aboard regardless of the length of stay. On deck there’s a large center cockpit with spacious aft deck with accommodations for relaxing or alfresco dining. Auxiliary power is provided by a Ford Lehman diesel engine with Perkins transmission. Mechanical and electronic features include a reverse osmosis water maker, Alpha auto pilot, Wind Point wind/speed display, knot meter, and depth sounder.   Sadly this boat was neglected by her caretaker for the past year and she needs a lot of TLC and refurbishment.The pictures show her from 2009 and early 2010 and do NOT represent her condition now. She should be viewed as project boat but the buyer who has the time and skills can bring her back to her glory and have a yacht worth a lot more. She is offered as is, where is. Bring offers.
