Bristol Cutter 1980 Boats Review and Specs
Year: 1980Manufacturer: M.G. Mayer
Price: US$69,900
This one-owner Bristol is a classic beauty with long overhangs, a sweet sheerline, and she is ready to cruise. She is a cutter rigged yawl (the mizzen mast has been temporarily removed and is in storage) which allows for several sail combinations. She is powered by a 36HP Westerbeke (new in 2001 with only about 850 hours), and has a 4.4KW Westerbeke genset (with about 1850 hours use). She has many custom features, including 1100lbs extra ballast to make her stiffer (the owner checked with Ted Hood prior to doing this). The main is on a Harken furler, and both headsails are on Profurl roller-furlers. She also has a 10 gallon/hour water-maker, reverse-cycle AC, Raytheon 24 mile radar, Icom SSB, and much more. She looks great! At this price she is a steal!!
