“Pier Pressure” is one of several large commercial and recreational vessels built by the Kelly Shop in Jeffersonville IN over their many years of operation. Originally launched in 1980 this always fresh water vessel has her hull, deck and most of her super structure  constructed of steel. Several upgrades have been completed within the last few years including an aft cockpit, large swim platform and a very nice flush mounted hot tub on the aft deck overlooking the cockpit  .In 2006 she was  repowered with a brand new  pair of 600 HP Mercedes MTU marine diesels (116 hours). At this time she was also  fitted with a new 25 KW generator while retaining the original 20 KW generator (still in excellent running condition) and  a diesel engine driven bow thruster that is similar to those that you find on commercial vessels. Her most recent upgrade (2010) is a large fully enclosed  climate controlled pilot house constructed  of aluminum by Darling Yachts in Jeffersonville IN.  Her modern engines offer a wide range of operating speeds i.e. extended low RPM operation for hull speed, continuous cruise at a brisk 18 Knots and a top speed of 21 Knots.  Heavily built, tastefully decorated and specifically designed for live aboard long range cruising she features tremendous strength and incredible comfort in any climate. The current owner is a very experienced yachtsman having owned several large yachts as well as large commercial vessels. Due to his change of plans “PIER PRESSURE” is now offered for sale at a very competitive price. She is turn key and cruise ready. There is an October 2010 out of the water survey available for qualified buyers. This survey established the value of the vessel at $500,000.
