The Alan Payne designed 10.7 is a high quality Canadian built yacht that is not well known in the US. The Canadians know and appreciate them for the oversized accomedations and extensive storage. They are also very competent sailboats. This boat is in excellent condition and very, very clean. We sold her to the present owners in 1998. Alan Payne gained international fame as the designer of GRETEL the Australian 12 Meter that came very close to winning the America’s Cup. One of the features we really like is her wine glass underwater hull shape with the lead ballast bolted down low. This gives her something few modern boats have, a good sump for bilge water and immense strength if you are unlucky enough to bounce of a reef or rock. Her hull is single skin glass with large longitudinal stringers heavily glassed in. We believe this boat represents an excellent value. We would welcome the opportunity to show you this fine boat and tell you why she is one of our favorite designs. This is one of the roomiest 35 footers you will find with lots of light high grade teak throughout, custom cabinetry, and extra storage. The interior is beautiful, Stainless steel tanks, Yanmar diesel, roller furling, newer sails, and good electronics. This special boat will exceed your expectations.
