S/V MORNING GLORY has served her owners well for many years providing them with a comfortable, lively, small cruiser for their frequent coastal cruises.  The Newport 28 II offers an exceptionally spacious and well thought-out interior and boasts 6’2″ headroom.  The boat performs well in light to moderate air and reportedly does well racing under PHRF though MORNING GLORY was not raced.  It has a single spreader rig with a relatively small mainsail and large foretriangle.  In short, she’s  a capable small cruising vessel offered at an affordable price.
