Blue Azimuth III has made several Atlantic crossings and has cruised the Caribbean extensively. The owner purchased her to continue his circumnavigation and has outfitted her with this in mind. She is only for sale due to a change in his plans. While designed to be safely handled by a crew of one or two, Blue Azimuth III is a fast and comfortable cruising home for up to six persons in her 3 double cabins, with two additional berths in the salon. She has two heads, a full size chart table, sea berths, lee  cloths and a galley that works both at sea and the dock.   On deck, she has a swim platform, a comfortable cockpit, wind vane / autopilot steering systems, mast safety bars and a cutter rig. She is equipped with two roller furling headsail systems, an inner stay, six sails, electric w3indlass, extensive ground tackle, radar, GPS, ham radio, two VHF’s and other electronics. She has solar cells, wind generator, water generator, a high output alternator and transformer isolated 120v and 240 v a/c systems. She comes with two multi-voltage refrigeration / freezer systems (one portable), charts, guides, linens, equipped galley, TV/VCR and a bar. The full inventory is available.   Designed with a variable draft of 3’3” to 6’8”, Blue Azimuth III is equally at home gunk holing through the shallow waters of the Bahamas, or serious blue water cruising, and her ability to carry food, water, fuel and extensive spares, makes her suitable for extended cruising, such as a circumnavigation.  She has extensive storage, both on deck and below.   Strongly built of aluminum, Blue Azimuth III has two watertight bulkheads, a painted hull and graceful lines, which offer a fine pride of ownership. Her hull, rudder, skeg, centerboards and underbody have NACA designed curves and the quality of construction and fine woodwork can be seen throughout the boat. Built as hull#24, she is a rare example of a VIA 42.   In conclusion, Blue Azimuth III is a quality cruising boat, offered with an impressive list of cruising gear, tools and spare parts.
