Accommodations & LayoutThe Landfall 38 is divided into three cabin. The private stateroom is forward with double 6′ 2″ vee berths, filler, 6″ cushions, teak ceilings with shelves, reading lights and overhead hatch. A 3 drawer teak bureau, locker and shelf is located aft to port with an enclosed hanging locker to starboard. Next aft is the main salon including and L shaped settee (6’3″) to port; opposite to starboard is another 6’3″ settee. Both convert to berths. The on centerline dining table, complete with drop leafs will seat six. Storage is also provided above each settee, some with sliding opaque doors. A well appointed U shaped galley is next aft to port. Deep double stainless sinks, hot/cold pressure water with foot pump. Storage lockers underneath the sink as well as several convenient drawers. There is a large top loading refrigerator, 3 burner propane stove with oven and plenty of counter space. There are window curtains, a mid deck hatch, four stainless steel dorade vents, vent hatches over the head and galley. Excellent lighting is provided by indirect fluorescent lights in the overhead as well as several reading lights throughout the cabin. The large head is located opposite the galley and is complete with a separate shower stall with an electric sump pump, molded sink with soap dish, mirrors, marine manual flush. Then a private aft cabin has a wide quarter berth to port with teak ceilings. Opposite is the navigation table with swing-out seat and hanging locker. All of the interior woodwork is satin varnished teak; cabin sole is teak and holly. GalleyA very spacious “U” shaped galley to port of the centerline. Lots of counter work area. Numerous drawers, cabinets and deep double stainless steel sinks. The galley is out of the way of through boat traffic.
