The 390 EC turned out to be one of the most popular models ever built by Searay. As the first of the big production boats every built by Searay when she was introduced in 1984, her sleek lines and Euro styling, while somewhat tame by today’s standards, made a lasting impression on the mid 80’s Express boat market worldwide. Inside, her expansive 2 stateroom interior is arranged with a center line queen berth in the forward master stateroom and a combined galley and breakfast bar to starboard facing the long curved lounge with table to port. The guest stateroom is unique as it is separated from the salon area by a retractable mirrored bulkhead and a sliding pocket entry door. Slide it away,convert bunk beds into a sofa lounge and the area actually becomes a part of the main salon. The head is large with a vanity,vaccu flush head system and a large stall shower. Interior is wood grain mica , all cushions for dinette lounge,guest stateroom were replaced last 2-3 years and are a light brown leatherette material. The forward master berth mattress was replaced in 2009 as well. Interior carpeting is all new in 2009 as well the full size refrigerator in the galley. The boat is clean inside/out for her age and the engine room is neat and tidy and the bilge is very clean and well kept. The 390 is a great sea boat and features a wide 13′ 11″ Beam and a dry displacement of 16,400 lbs which gives the boat a heavy, dry ride in rough waters.
