Very well built, well maintained Mako family powerboat. Her 1997 Evinrude Oceanrunner 225 HP is more than adequate propulsion for the vessel. Her knowledgeable owners have maintained her in very good condition. Due to her condition and her seakeeping abilities, she is in many ways, the perfect family boat. She is an excellent example of good manufacturing and pride in ownership. Her 1997 Oceanrunner oil-injected motor has only 85 hours on upper and lower professional rebuild. She cruises at 25 knots with 38 knots W.O.T. Seastar Hydrailc Steering, 3-sided Bimini enclosure(toast color), “V” berth cushions with filler (red), new pedestal seat cushions, and aft locker cushions. The Mako 228 features: Bait well, 2 Fish wells, recessed rod holders, Port & Stardboard aft storage lockers, 6′ 6″ V-Berth, SElf bailing cockpit, forward deck hatch, swim platform and ladder.
