ANTINEA’s design brief was to combine long passages, reliable, with a luxurious and comfortable environment. Jon Bannenberg and Tom Fexas successfully managed to deliver this magnificent yacht that still today boasts timeless lines and reliable performances. The high quality commercial shipyard Nishii in Japan was chosen to build her for their reputation of producing strong ocean going vessels and after having served successfully for many years her owners, she went in 2008 and 2009 through a major refit at shipyard Stabbert Maritime. Today ANTINEA has kept all her character from when she was built yet with the latest in equipment and interior and exterior fabrics thanks to the massive work that has been done at the shipyard. The European style has influenced the Owner for the design of the new interior. Exquisite Brazilian hardwoods and Italian marble surfaces abound complemented by designer fabrics. The accommodations are spacious and luxurious, depicting the long cruises spirit of the vessel lifestyle which is warm and inviting, but with elegance and sophistication for more formal entertaining. She has crossed for her maiden voyage directly from Seattle to Cannes (about 10,000 miles) and arrived fresh and ready to go back to her next adventure; rare are the modern yachts that can do that today.
