” Sally B III” was purchased by the present owner in 2005,and had been kept under cover for the entire five years previous to that time. At the time of purchase, “Sally B” was the best equipped, best maintained 44′ Viking available; and the current owner has continued a rigorous maintenance program and has updated and improved most of the vessels equipment and interior appointments. The anti-fouling bottom paint was stripped down to original gel coat, barrier coated and repainted. Trim tab hydraulics replaced and drippless shaft seals replaced original packing glands. Sea Tel satellite television receiver installed, New 42″ Flatscreen in Salon, 26″ Flatscreen on aft deck, and 15″ flatscreens in both staterooms. New Furuno 40″ open array radar and 12″ GPS Nav display installed. There are four 16,000 BTU Marine Air air conditioners on “Sally B”, including a 16,000 BTU unit on the aft deck; all of which have new comprssors and air handlers. In addition to adding air conditioning to the adft deck, the wet bar area was customized to accomodate a 26″ flat screen TV which drops down from the overhead.(see photos) The aft deck enclosure has been replaced with Rainier Bonded Windows 80 gauge lexan, dark tinted, and Ferrari-Stamoid white vinyl. The flybridge enclosure was redone with the Stamoid white vinyl and a Rainier Bonded 40 gauge clear window forward of the helm. An Electro-san waste treatment system was added. The yachts interior was completely redone professionally by Fab Interiors by Wendy. All new carpet throughout, all wallpaper replaced with specialty paints including two murals. Interior lighting updated and LED lights added. All furniture, bedding and drapes replaced. All seat cushions (including flybridge and forward bow seating) replaced. All new aft deck furniture and new carpet on aft deck and flybridge. Replaced laminate countertops in galley and both heads with granite and new designer sinks and faucets.  “Sally B III” has only 1625 original hours and the engines have been maintained by a well known and highly regarded Detroit Diesel mechanic. The yacht is washed and waxed regularly and just completed its annual haulout and bottom painting last month; May 2011.
