The Hallberg-Rassy 49 is a true blue water classic built to high standards by one of the world’s best builders. Hallberg Rassy built 89 of these stout capable world voyagers between 1982 and 1997. Hallberg Rassy built them with sloop rigs and ketch rigs with Hallberg Rassy’s signature hard dodger which is a work of art. Our current offering “E” is hull number 57. She is a beautiful ketch rig with a removable inner stay with beautiful brand new teak decks, a deep safe cockpit, HR hard dodger, superb accommodations, and she is a superior sailing vessel. This is a gorgous center cockpit vessel with a layout that is truly incredible for a family. E is a true three-stateroom layout with pilot berths port and starboard in the salon and a very private comfortable aft cabin with a queen berth, private head and stall shower. Forward the an amazing forward cabin is luxurious and just aft is a lovely starboard cabin with uppers and lower berths. The large head and stall shower is adjacent to port. The salon headroom is truly spacious and the galley is the safest and best offshore galley you could wish for. This HR49 is the best boat you will ever find. She has been maintained by a professional yachtman with pride of ownership and deep knowledge gained through decades of boat ownership. She is ship shape well beyond 99% of the boats you can find on the brokerage market. Do not be afraid of her mid 80s vintage as she is young beyond her years of dependable service.
