If you are looking for screaming fast sailboat that exudes character, you have found it. Custom Built by Brian Howell using the cold molded technique of 3 layers of marine mahogany ply laminated with west system epoxy for an extremely light but very strong hull. The outer layer has been sprayed with clear Imron over a layer of light glass and epoxy so the beautiful wood grain can shine through while maintaining a waterproof finish.But mostly she is fast. Quoting from the article from Wooden Boat on the vessel, she averaged 8.75 knots from Block Island to Stonington in 15 knots of wind in a close fetch.Stoutly built, light, and stable with a 50% ballast ratio. This is a fast daysailor and a sailor’s dream.
