The Cheoy Lee 58′ Sportfisherman is one of the more dramatic boats to be found among the big offshore production sportfishers. She was meant to go fast, with high tech construction methods using lightweight Airex & Divinycell coring and unidirectional laminates throughout. Repowered in 2000 with Caterpillar 3412 FWC diesels offering a 35 knot cruise and maximum speeds over 40 knots. The wide open 138 sq’ cockpit includes direct engine room access, molded tackle centers, flush fish boxes and built in storage. The spacious flybridge has the helm console set aft and a circular guest seating forward. “Elvira” features a three stateroom layout with a double V-berth in the forward cabin, a walkaround queen size berth in the owner’s cabin, and upper and lower berths in the port guest cabin, each with adjoining head. The galley is on the starboard side and open to the salon, with abundant storage, corian counters, and new (2010) appliances. Opposite on the portside there is a settee. Salon features a large L shape settee with entertainment center opposite. Continuing aft through a sliding salon door and down three steps, you enter the cockpit.
