Busfield Marine Brokers are proud to be selected as the Vendors Sole Agent for this special vessel   DIMENSIONS and BRIEF DESCRIPTION   Designed by Farr Office as an IMS Racer Launched  1992 LOA 15.725 Beam  4.4 Draft 2.92   CONSTRUCTION Hull. Composite Kevlar/Carbon/Foam. Deck. Composite over male mould Keel.  Built in parts. Upper section of cast stainless steel with steel bolts offset into the top and bolted to the reinforced load bearing structure. This area has been reconstructed and strengthened by Robertson Boat Builders during a major refit in 03 Lower section is cast lead with an integral bulb. The lower section is secured to the upper by pocket bolts Rudder. Carbon composite with integral stock Wheel to quadrant by Kevlar webbing   MACHINERY Perkins Primo  M60 4 Cylinder 60hp with 4850 hours approx. This motor has been well maintained and is in good condition. 120 litres fuel Propulsion is by Volvo Sail Drive which has recently been replaced. Propeller is 2 blade folding (Briskie)   WINCHES and DECK GEAR Barient 737 Linked Grinder 2X Barient 28 ST 2X Barient 36ST 2X Barient 32 ST Remote anchor winching is fitted All deck gear recently (09)replaced with top quality Lewmar gear (traveller, genoa, tracks, jammers, halyards etc) Deck was repainted at same time   SAILS and RIG Mast is 5 spreader in line fractional. Out in 09 with Rod Rigging replaced #1 Light Kevlar #1Heavy Kevlar/carbon/taffeta Main Cruise Laminate Above sails by Norths and approx 4 years.. Shape recently checked by Norths and declared excellent #3 Kevlar (07) S2, S3,A2,A3,A5  All Norths 08 – 09 off TP 52 Jib Top (04) Doyle Drifter #5 Dacron. North Cruising/Delivery main. Hoists below runners Rum Race/Cruising #1 Rum Race/Cruising #3 Trysail   ELECTRONICS GME GX558A VHF ICON 1C-M700 HF Radio GPS NEXUS Wind, Speed and Depth Stereo/CD with stacker   DOMESTIC She is open plan and comfortably fitted out with four leather covered settee berths. More could be fitted A split galley has Ice Box, 2 Burner Stove, sink and locker space. 120 litre of water Pressure cold water is available Manual head is fitted forward. Holding tank is included but not fitted.   GENERAL This boat is one of the last Farr designed IMS Racers.  She was built in Australia and has been in New Zealand since 2001. Her owner is fastidious about his boats and has maintained her to a top standard. The interior is comfortable and quite suited to holiday cruising. At least 4 more berths could be fitted and  a more cruising set- up would be easily fitted. Cruising rig does not require using the runners making  her suitable for family outings and xmas cruise etc Her racing record with the Squadron is quite satisfactory for her type.
