Albemarle 265 Express Boats Review and Specs

The Albemarle 265 Express is a very well built Express Sportfisher notable for her agility and solid deep v performance. At 7,500 lbs displacement the 265 is no “lightweight” compared with similar sized competitors, but the extra weight and a seaworthy 24′ degree deep v hull result in a capable small fisherman able to run in rough sea conditions with confidence. Standard features include bait boxes, tackle locker, removable fish box and a compact cabin with a convertible v berth/dinette, galley and enclosed head. Construction and finish are above average throughout. In the jackshaft model, the engine is mounted amidships and the engine is connected to the Duo-Prop outdrive via the jackshaft. With the engine located under the bridgedeck, service access is very good . . . In this particular boat, her updated and upgraded Volvo 8.1 High Output propulsion generating 425 HP easily cruises the boat in the 30 knot range and top out at 40 ! Trailer available if required.
