The Albemarle 265 Express is a very well built Express Sportfisher notable for her agility and solid deep v performance. At 7,500 lbs displacement the 265 is no “lightweight” compared with similar sized competitors, but the extra weight and a seaworthy 24′ degree deep v hull result in a capable small fisherman able to run in rough sea conditions with confidence. Standard features include bait boxes, tackle locker, removable fish box and a compact cabin with a convertible V berth/dinette, galley and enclosed head. Construction and finish are above average throughout. In the jackshaft model, the engines are mounted amidships and the engines are connected to the Dup-Prop outdrives via the jackshaft.
