The Luhrs 32 Open is a popular offshore express with handsome styling, large cockpit, and upscale accommodations. The 32 Open has all the functionality of any good fisherman and a cabin that rivals an express cruiser. On deck we find a centerline helm with hard top with front and side curtains. The helm position offers a great view with 360-degree visibility. Electronics include: Northstar GPS, Loran, radar with plotter, VHF radio, and Furuno depth finder. Seating includes swivel captain’s helm chair and bench seating to each side of the helm. Overhead is a hardtop-covered tower with bench seating and upper station with controls, VHF radio, and fish finder. The large cockpit is made for fishing with rocket launchers, live well, bait prep center, fish box, tackle center, and fresh & salt water wash down. Forward we have the bow pulpit with anchor. Below, the interior is upscale with teak trim, forward convertible dinette/v-berth, starboard L-shaped settee with pullout conversion to double berth and two hanging lockers. The galley is port side with teak cabinet, solid surface counter top, electric cook top, and stainless steel sink. Appliances include built-in microwave oven and under-counter refrigerator. Cabin electronics feature television with VCR. The enclosed head has vanity with sink, toilet, and shower. This 32 Open is powered by twin Marine Power 454 PFI engines with 370 horsepower each. They provide a cruising speed of 20 knots with a top speed around 30 knots. She has just had a new bottom job done, complete with new zincs and actuators. Cabin comfort is controlled by reverse cycle HAC and offshore electrical power is provided by a Westerbeke generator that is a new re-build with less than 1 hour currently on it.
