“OCEAN CLOUD” STYLISH PERFORMANCE CRUISER WITH SPACIOUS ACCOMMODATION FOR 6/8. SHALLOW KEEL VERSION WITH CRUISING RIG. The Beneteau First 42s7 was one of the last of the S range models from Beneteau and probably the prettiest. Developed for offshore racing in comfort, the racing version proved to be successful. A cruising version was also offered with shallower draft, double spreader rig with 1 x 19 rigging and a forward mainsheet track, keeping the cockpit clear. “Ocean Cloud” is the cruising version. Sold by us new to her first owner she was very lightly used for local day sailing only. We sold her to her present owner in 2006, since when she has been cruised and club raced. New performance sails, spinnaker winches, spinnaker pole, Solent tracks and low stretch halyards have been added by the present owner. A great looking fast cruising yacht with a really spacious layout below decks, capable of club racing.
