OWNER WILL LOOK AT ALL REASONABLE OFFERS The Tayana 48 Center Cockpit designed by Robert Perry is appreciated by anyone who has owned one.  Having been prepared for long range cruising she has radar, autopilot intergrated with GPS and chartplotter, furling main and jib, extensive ground tackle. Added since 2005 to an already extensive equipment list were boom furling, new main sail, watermaker, bimini with side curtains and much more.    As of August, 2011 she has has received the following new updates:   new Yanmar 4JH4-TE engine re-built 5 KW Northern Lights generator head (110v) replacement (2) new Mermaid refrigerator systems (refrigerator and freezer) new 2500 watt inverter/charger with remote control new Shurflo 4.2 gallon pump new Spectra water maker pre-pump and cooling fan new Batteries – (4) deep cycle 6 volt for house bank & (1) new group 31 starter battery putboards (2) cleaned & serviced   Electrical:      (11) new floor courtesy lights     168 ft. of 2/0 battery cable     12 gauge wire – approx. 250 ft.     terminal blocks, fuse holders, cable ends, rotary switches, Maxwell anchor breaker/switch   New bottom paint, zincs, and thru-hulls.  Re-finish entire cabin sole and cabinets.   Misc:     clean bilges, re-install drip pan, replace Yanmar exhaust hose, raw-water hose, generator exhaust, sink drain, and bilge hoses.   She has beautifully finished teak interior, screens for all hatches, covers for all wood to protect the finish. The dodger, bimini and side curtains create outdoor living quarter so important in the tropics. The transition of moving aboard will be extremely easy due to galley items, linens, parts and tools shall remain with the vessel. Wishing to travel beyond Mexico there are charts for Panama, Caribean, Cartegena, courtesy flags and cruising guides to take you there. A survey conducted in October 2010 is available.
