EAU DE VIE is a very handsome 42′ Atlantic Duffy Flybridge Cruiser which was custom-finished in 1999 by Hunter Scott of Cape Cod, MA. Powered with a single 600 hp Cat 3176B, EAU DE VIE cruises easily at 18 knots, and with her built-down hull and long keel, she offers a seaworthy, comfortable ride. Only 957 original hours are showing on the engine hour meter, very low hours for a 10 year old vessel.
Along with her attractive dark green “Downeast” hull, EAU DE VIE will appeal to the cruising couple or family, as she has one of the most desirable interior layouts this office has seen. Forward is a large centerline queen, next aft is a “second” guest stateroom which doubles as an office with a comfortable settee and fold-up teak table, and it converts to an upper and a lower double berth. The enclosed head includes a Vacuflush W.C. and separate stall shower. The main salon is most attractive with a U-shaped dinette with hunter green ultrasuede cushions, and a well-designed L-shaped portside galley, offering more storage than most sisterships. There’s a wide companion and helm seat, and a starboard side door at the lower helm. The interior joinerwork is exquisite with varnished mahogany trim, raised-panelled mahogany doors, and white bulkheads in the Herreshoff style. There’s also a varnished teak and holly sole.
